In 2014 Kartell launched Madame armchairs collection, in partnership with designer Philippe Starck. From this collection, Kartell is presenting us Madame – World of Emilio Pucci edition, by which specific patterns are brought into the spotlight.
The armchairs are proudly wearing an upholstery on which the print is inspired by the scarves made in the brand’s inimitable style, celebrating Emilio Pucci’s brand around the world. Each print is an explosion of colors and shapes, abstract representations of the reference cities: Paris, Rome, New York, Shanghai.
The base is made of polycarbonate seats, the seat is upholstered and elegant rounded edges for the seatback and arms.
Paris – Avenue Montaigne
The interior is red and the exterior opens a wrought-iron gate, to the city.
Roma – Piazza di Spagna
A surreal tour of the market, in charming shades of pink, purple and turquoise.
New York – Madison Avenue and Statue of Liberty
Shanghai
The predominant black elegancy is enriched by the strong red and violet shades of the print.
A good characterization was made at the event in Milan, by designer Philippe Starck itself, through the remark “I think that, fortunately, freedom is the only style today. The freedom to be different.”
For those who want to get a cosmopolitan design of the living room, office or dining area, Madame – “The World of Emilio Pucci” armchairs collection is ideal.
